Voice N Choice: Star Wars

Last week we begun our Voice N Choice sessions. Children from Years 3 to 6 identified a range of topics they wanted to learn more about and then we found the most passionate teacher in the school to teach that subject. It will come as no surprise that the Star Wars class was a hit!

For our first session we spent time familiarising ourselves with the central characters from the original trilogy; A New Hope, Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. We looked at the friendships established between Luke Skywalker, Obi Wan Kenobi, Han Solo, Princess Leia, Chewbacca, R2-D2, C3-Po. The children were also excited to focus on the actions of other characters such as Darth Vader, The Emperor, Jabba the Hutt and Boba Fett.

The prequel trilogy (The Phantom Menace, Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith) will be the focus of the next session, as well as the theme of friendship and emotion.
