Update

Dear Parents/Guardians,

As you are most likely aware on Tuesday afternoon Victorian Premier, Daniel Andrews, announced changes to the commencement of Term 3 for all students in Victoria.
The Department of Education is still in the process of determining the operating guidelines for these changes and I will provide these details, as they become available, to the school community.

For now the information in summary:
All students have an additional week of school holidays.
Term 3 for students will now begin on Monday 20 July (possibly remote and flexible learning)
Teachers will be required to return to work from Monday 13 July to:
-prepare for a possible move to remote and flexible learning from Monday 20 July
-provide a program of care and supervision for those students whose parents/carers cannot work from home

I understand that this may mean further uncertainty and another period of disruption for our whole school community.
However, these steps have been identified as critical measures to protect the safety of all of us.
The enhanced cleaning of schools and the provision of personal hygiene supplies including hand sanitiser will continue.
I will provide more detailed information regarding arrangements, including arrangements for children of Essential Workers, to all parents and carers in the coming days.
