Principal | 2019 Education State School Leadership Conference

On Monday and Tuesday of this week I was privileged to attend the Education State Leadership Conference with Mr Cuss Assistant Principal. We listened to both international and Australian speakers discuss innovation in education and how this can support us to create the best possible educational opportunities for your children. We are committed to increasing the opportunities for parents to connect closely with the school and it was exciting to hear how to increase community engagement in learning, working together to support academic and personal growth. We also investigated research related to activating student voice to increase agency in their learning. We discussed how to create learning opportunities that meet students’ individual learning needs and aspirations through genuine voice, agency and leadership. It was a very worthwhile two days of learning that will help to form discussions for the future.
