Principal | Reconciliation Week

31 ਮਈ 2019

National Reconciliation Week has provided an opportunity for our children to further focus on Australian Indigenous culture. This has included every classroom participating in our Dreamtime Tuesday story “Why the koala has a stumpy tail”. Each day on the school bulletin for teachers I have provided links to resources to grow our understanding of what Reconciliation means to our First Peoples and how we can impart this knowledge to the children in our school. At Cranbourne Carlisle we love to learn and celebrate the cultures that make up our wonderful school, this is an important opportunity to increase our understanding of our Indigenous Australian heritage.
